Wrye Mash - Polemos fork
Does not need Python installed, easier for newcomers and useful when standard Wrye Mash 84 Python can't change a mod timestamp or description due to string handling problems.
199
MWSE2 (NullCascade's latest build)
This is the very latest version of Morrowind scripting extender needed by e.g. several recent advanced mods, compatible with latest MGE-XE + Beta version, just copy the MWSE.ddl in Morrowind folder

MWSE (Merzasphor's latest extension)
This is the scripting extender needed by several recent advanced mods, compatible with latest MGE-XE version, just copy the MWSE.ddl in Morrowind folder

TESPCD TES Plugin Conflict Detector
Detects conflicts between plugins and provides a built-in editor to help correct them. Features an auto-cleaner. I suggest using this tool to check and look for conflicts before adding a new mod to your loading list.
136
Melchor's Wrye Mash standalone
A stand alone edition of Wrye Mash, based on the latest Yacoby source. The "editing the file header" bug is fixed and retains all the extra functionality like drag and drop. It supports MGE XE, mlox, TES3cmd, TES3llint and also has many new features like: a MenuBar, mod order snaps, UNICODE, BSA support and more.

Yacoby's Load Order Tutorial
Great explanation of loading order and related tools

Yacoby's Mash fork/standalone
Another Mash stand alone alternative. Similar to Melchor's one, has some more advanced features but more problems with strings, at least in my setup.
237
MGE XE
Morrowind Graphics Extender XE; allows Morrowind to render distant views, scenery shadows, high quality shaders and other features. Get also the last beta patch
5001
Optimizer Textures
Automatically optimizes textures, bookart and icons.
Even in its beta state, already a must-use tool for the savvy modder/mod-user.

My additional [MORROWIND] settings in Ordenador.ini:

Set_Icon32x32 = Icons\*
Preserve_File = textures\menu_*
Preserve_Folder = distantland
Set_NoMipmaps = Splash\*
Set_NoMipmaps = Textures\compass.*
Set_NoResize = *\cursor*
Set_NoMipmaps = *\cursor*

TESFaith#
A graphical version of Paul Halliday's useful utility for moving exterior cells around. It will move CELL and LAND records, change interior doors to point to the new cells, and it will even make a spirited attempt to modify scripts for you. This graphical version lets you overlay mods to check for conflicts, and will generate maps of plugins. - Requires .NET v1.1 abot's note: TESFaith works better on moving landmasses, but TESFaith# is useful to have a quick view of used/dirty exterior cells in a mod

Morrowind Code Patch
An attempt at defeating the worst bugs in the game, including save corruption; and also adding a few more features people have dreamt of. Take a look also at the beta patch
4460
NIF Texture Stripper
NIF Texture Stripper v1.6

MLOX, tes3lint, tes3cmd

Essential john.moonsugar's tools for the savvy mod user/maker.

Note: pre-release alpha version of tes3cmd is here.

I suggest using it if you need the --active command to work on all the mods in your loading list or if you need to regenerate your multipatch.esp file because it should have a better working leveled list generator.

TESTool
Great for cleaning coupled with tes3cmd, still very good for managing loading order, still my choice for merging objects
642
Morrowind Graphics Extender (MGE)
Still great if you can't run MGE XE
449
Wrye Mash
Essential tool for mod management
